Our one-day Missions Conference
Home Grown Foreign Missionaries First Baptist Church Join us as we invite several who have grown up at FBC to share their ministries. Sunday, June 29th 9 am & 11:00 am Guest speaker: Nelson Buchanan Speakers: Stephanie Punchard, Lexie Tate (video), Rebecca Mummau, Michelle Stockman (video), Bri O’Brien (video), Gina Piper, Emily LaBianca (video) We invite you to meet them, hear their stories, and learn how they are serving now.
Thomas and Cheri Henry
Thomas and Cheri Henry are based out of England, but have been “globe trotters” the past several months, instructing couples and singles in godly relationships through the presentation of their Relational Care Workshops. They have been serving the body of believers in Uganda, Kenya, Jordan, and North Africa. They look forward to presenting their “intensives” in Germany next. Please pray over the expansion of the ministry. Excitingly, Thomas and Cheri Henry are working with Stephanie Punchard to facilitate a Relational Care Workshop for a married couple and a single gal working in her country in North Africa.
Stephanie Punchard
Stephanie continues to pour into locals and the children of her fellow workers. Please pray over the workers as the work is intense and challenging. Please pray that Stephanie can find a place for a personal retreat while she is home this summer.
Michelle Stockman
Michelle Stockman continues to serve her community through the food pantry and by providing medical care as needed. She also serves at her local church, conducting Sunday School classes for the children. Michelle’s daughter has medical needs that FBC has been generously supporting. Please continue to pray for them as they navigate the special needs that Ericka is experiencing.
AWANA - leaders Eric and Karen Holsopple
The ministry's goal is to provide encouragement and solutions to churches that want to have
children's ministries but do not have many regular visitors or workers to do such ministry.
The ministry also helps churches plan the many events that are happening now and are
being planned for the future.
The beginning of each new year inspires a sense of hope for what lies ahead. We set
resolutions and make promises to ourselves to ensure that this year is better than the last.
As you walk into this year, may you remember the never-failing promises of our God. From
Genesis to Revelation, God has shown that we can confidently trust and hope in His
promises.
What promises of God do you need to hold on to this year? Is it His promise of protection,
guidance, goodness, or rest? The assurance of His presence, or that He is fighting for you?
As we move through 2025, let us embrace and firmly believe that God's promises always
come to pass!
Please pray for the challenge of being on a new team of missionaries to serve with and for
the opportunities to serve together in area churches, and to continue to reach out to new
churches to share how Awana could help them better disciple their children.
