C.A.R.E.S.
Cares is an organization consisting of 12 board members, a director, volunteers, and salaried workers. We provide
emergency shelter in the winter months, October through April. Eleven churches and Arendtsville Lions helped us
out this year by volunteering for two weeks to make and serve breakfast and wash the blankets of the guests. St.
James church houses them every winter. Our resource center director helps find work and a permanent place to live for some. This year, our church, FBCG, served with breakfast, devotionals, and laundry washing from November 3-17. Thank you to all who volunteered. Your love and dedication to this cause are inspiring. To God be the Glory! Mathew 5:7 “Blessed are the merciful.”

Gideons
The Gideons are bouncing back from COVID. In 2020, because of the epidemic, we were restricted to locations and thus gave out a little over 30 million Bibles/Testaments. This fiscal year, we distributed around 70 million, which is much closer to our pre-COVID rate of 80 million. We now have on our Gideon Bible App the Bible in almost 2400 languages for 223 countries and territories. Most of these languages can be either read or listened to. While Nigeria, which is the worst country in the world for persecuting Christians, we have still been able to give out a little over 89 million copies of Scripture since 1964, when we started a ministry in that country. At the beginning of October 2025, we distributed over 19,000 copies of Scripture in the Lehigh Valley area over
three days. We also participated in the Hanover Snack Festival, Jubilee Day in Mechanicsburg, South Mountain Fair, and Dickinson College. On October 16th, we held a Pastor’s Banquet at INN 94 to honor all the pastors in Adams and York County for their faithfulness in preaching the Gospel.

AWANA
We are so grateful for your partnership in our ministry to build resilient disciples. Thank you for the value that your
church has placed on child discipleship. It is encouraging to hear churches and leaders making the most of their
time to help clubbers grow in their faith and build lasting relationships with them. Time and time again, we have
been told how much the care of a loving, caring adult can make all the difference in a child's discipleship journey.

Our Ministry Goals are to:
Provide encouragement and solutions to all churches that are navigating through ministry challenges.
Visiting our Awana Clubs while they are running and visiting with Awana Ministry Directors to encourage them.
Keep reaching out to non-Awana churches.
Challenging churches with a call to action, making child discipleship a priority.

Prepare for the end of the year support raising campaign.
As we near the end of this year, let us remember the unwavering promises of our God. From the beginning of
Genesis to the end of Revelation, God has consistently demonstrated His reliability and our ability to trust and hope in His promises.
